Render Unto Evil #001

A panel of a comic featuring an establishing shot of a wicked-looking castle atop a large, steep-sided mountain. A trail winds its way up the mountain, with a barely visible figure in a purple coat walking up it. There are two text boubles, the first (which lacks a tail) says "The God-King has returned." The second, from someone off panel, reads "Welcome back, uncle."
Two figures speak to one another, each wearing large purple cloaks over armor. On the left is a woman with a bronze helm that has a boar's snout and tusks. She is bowing and holding up an orb on a pillow. She says "I trust your hunt went well"? The other figure has a massive shoulder pads that extend his cape very wide, and a crown. He reaches to take the orb, saying. "Indeed. There's nothing quite like banishing heroes' souls to oblivion. I trust all was well in my absence"
Two figures in purple cloaks talk, as the woman walks away from the man. She has a disappointed expression on her face, he is shocked. She says "Of course not. The seventh legion made a play for the capital. I dealt with it, but now we have rebellions throughout the south."
The God-king pouts, slightly pathetically. A metaphorical rain cloud has appeared over his head, pouring atop him.

Here’s the first Render Unto Evil comic. A little episodic something about a hyper-competent Dark Lord, and the absolute clown show his entire empire is.

I’m really hoping the formatting works out for the images.
